Tim Bryant

Tim Bryant – Editor

Best editor on the planet, or one of them anyway. 30 years experience in educational and academic publishing.

Overview

Since 2019 I have done academic copyediting for the University of Oklahoma Press in a variety of topics: American history, western history, political science, national parks, biography, rodeo and animal care, and health care. Previously, I worked as a copy editor, production editor, and managing editor at a number of publishers, including the University of Nebraska Press, the National Council of Teachers of English, McKnight Publishing, and Glencoe Publishing.

I have degrees in English and Physical Geography, and my writing experience extends to a stint as a service information writer for Caterpillar Inc. and to my role as a program coordinator at the Illinois State Water Survey, where I became familiar with the Microsoft Track Changes system. I have a wide background in the sciences and am as comfortable with scientific concepts as with literary topics.
