I enjoy working directly with authors to craft their books, while I also partner with brands on a variety of print, layout and brand design work as an independent designer.

Interior layout design: I offer polished typography, inventive organization of information, plus playing with creative content. My skills are suited for both fiction and non-fiction, traditional long-form manuscripts, poetry, and interactive journal books.

If we work together on a print book, I can also assist in converting it into a reflowable, reader-friendly ebook version.

Cover design: My specialties incorporate typography, photography, thoughtful graphics, or clever visuals (though my expertise does not include hand-painted illustrations—we can team up to source those).

My process: Relies on clarity and communication—truly understanding your ideas and messages in order to relay that through visual and logical hierarchy. More technically, my files and design development are orderly and detailed, so that the final product is consistent, clear, and accurate. I will outline each phase with my quote, and offer quick communication throughout.

My project minimum is $600.

After a lifetime of admiring all things on paper, I have applied this passion while working professionally for independent magazines, Chronicle Books publishing house, and creative agencies. I have accrued over a decade of experience and expertise.
