Stephanie Loureiro

Stephanie Loureiro – Editor

Substantive editor, proofreader, copy editor, and fact checker with over six years of experience in educational publishing.

Overview

Over the last 6+ years of my career in publishing, I have had the opportunity to edit, proofread, and copy edit a wide range of titles and products.* While the majority of my work has been on nonfiction books for students between kindergarten and eighth grade, I have also worked on (and authored) fiction titles.

One of my proudest career achievements was having the incredible opportunity to copy edit and proofread the professional development product, The Write Thing, authored by Newbery Award-winning author Kwame Alexander.

*Please note that some of these titles are credited to my former name of Stephanie Bernard.
