I am a professional Editor with strong proofreading and copyediting skills. I have worked on a number of different publishing projects in different sectors, with experience in textbooks, magazine articles and web copy.
My experience is mainly in copyediting, fact checking, proofreading and ensuring copy is consistent with house style. I have also pitched and written articles, as well as running a creative writing club where I provided developmental feedback to members. I have also had some of my own short stories published.
In terms of genres, I have worked on a variety of subjects, including economics, tourism, law, wine and spirits, human rights, business, and more. I enjoy learning about these subjects, and turning my hand to different tasks.
My varied publishing experience means I have an excellent understanding of the entire process and an appreciation for each step. I have an excellent eye for detail and can work accurately to tight deadlines.
Most importantly, I love the written word and get great satisfaction from editing copy and seeing it published!
