Overview

I'm an experienced book editor with a background in working on award-winning and bestselling memoirs, biographies, how-to manuals, and books on topical public affairs, from sustainable economics to environmentalism.

I have proven results in helping authors earn top book writing awards, place their commentaries in national newspapers of record, adapt their work for niche and national magazines, and develop marketing and sales plans to help land their books on industry bestseller lists (including the New York Times).

I work with authors to develop their books from idea to the marketplace and can help them shape a simple query letter, a full proposal, or provide full developmental editing from start to finish and help them outline a marketing plan for themselves and their book—from selected excerpts and adaptations to public speeches and published commentaries in national magazines and newspapers.
