Overview
I began my ghostwriting career in 2008, and have since written more than 200 novels, over 70 of which have become bestsellers. I started as a copywriter longing to write fiction, and am now a fiction writer who uses a copywriting skill set to keep readers on the page. My thrillers make readers feel a constant sense of escalating tension. My sci-fi floods them with wonder and awe. Horror has me balancing fear, suspense, and sometimes disgust. Action is all about that rush of adrenaline. And, of course, romance readers need feelings of love, affection, and emotional fulfillment while turning those pages. In addition to every genre of fiction (and attention getting screenplays), I have written extensively in the nonfiction, memoir, and business book spaces, including the self-publishing blockbuster, Write. Publish. Repeat.
As much as I love storytelling, working with others is my true super-power. I’ve collaborated with more than a hundred successful authors in every genre, and category. Whether it’s helping someone draw out their own story into a memoir, taking an idea they’ve been germinating and expanding it into a full story, supplying them with an array of narrative ideas for a genre they want to explore, or taking their vast knowledge and organizing it into a game-changing business book — I’ve done it all. I take the time to get to know and understand my clients’ goals so that I can be sure we’re hitting the right mark every time, whether it’s creating a book to launch a new career or aiming at an adaptation for film and TV.
I always start with defining the target and goal for every project. My writing partner (Niamh) is deeply knowledgable in subgenres, trends, and the current book market. Once we’ve identified the target, she works with you to create an outline to ensure we are hitting the exact mark that aligns your vision with marketplace demands. Then I take the outline and breathe life (or words!) into it.
