Book editing is a collaboration, and I work sensitively with writers to help craft the best possible version of their manuscripts. I know how hard it is to write a book because I've had one published, and I believe every author deserves conscientious, skillful editing that respects their voice and style.

As a freelancer for Toronto-based Guernica Editions and in my independent work, I have edited manuscripts ranging from debut novels by novice writers to books by authors with decades of experience and dozens of publications.

I have a sharp eye for detail and high proficiency in scrutinizing language, grammar, and consistency of plot and character.
