I bring many years of editorial experience in academic publishing, literary criticism, and general nonfiction. My approach blends deep engagement with language and narrative with a sharp editorial eye.

I offer copyediting, indexing and proofreading for nonfiction manuscripts at various stages of development. My work focuses on the text itself: structure, clarity, consistency, style, and accuracy, resulting in a clean, well-prepared Word manuscript ready for revision or handover to production.

Formatting for Amazon KDP (including Kindle, EPUB, or print-ready PDF layouts) is a separate production service and is not included in my editorial work. I’m happy to refer clients to specialist designers and formatters for this stage of the publishing process.
