NYC editor for Penguin Random House. Specializing in humor, lifestyle, self-help, wellness, mind/body/spirit, cookbooks, and health.

Overview

Hi there! My name is Sarah. I'm an editor for Penguin Random House and based in the New York City area. I have over 5 years of editing and acquisitions experience. I've worked for three NYC publishing companies on a variety of non-fiction genres--recently, I've acquired and edited books on wellness and mental health for both children and adults, often partnering with authors to build these books from the ground up.

Whether you need in-depth developmental editing, an editorial assessment, or a sensitivity or conscious language read, I can provide you with the feedback you need to take your manuscript or proposal to the next level. Capitalizing on my experience in acquisitions publishing, I can offer helpful tips and suggestions to strengthen your writing, structure, and style. I want to help you build a commercially viable proposal, connect with your audience, and become the author you've always wanted to be!
