Hello!

My name is Samantha and I am an artist and designer who specialises in book cover artwork and design for TV and film. I’m from Merseyside in the UK. I spend my days drinking ridiculous amounts of black coffee, and listening to 90s hip-hop while I draw or design on my Mac. Apparently singing along badly (so I’m told).

I am an accredited member of the Graphics Union UK and the Artists Union England. I have a varied portfolio of published book cover designs. My passion is helping writers like you, get the cover and experience they deserve when self-publishing. Not only can I create stunning book covers, but also everything you need to launch and market your book. From book trailers and cover reveal graphics for Book-Tok and Book-stagram, to Amazon store banners and reader magnets, I got you!

I can create you an illustrated cover, or fine art photo collage blended with customised typography so your book is dressed in a piece of art that will attract your readers. Making your story front and center by reading your manuscript so I can translate it into a visual that will deliver the best first impression to your readers, on screen or in print.

I left my full-time job as a designer for a TV production company, creating graphic props, developing key art and title logos for new shows and films that head off to Netflix, Apple TV, the BBC etc. These mainly consisted of book-to-screen adaptations but I now focus my time on book covers and freelancing on TV & Film work. This means I am highly adaptable to working across many genres. From discrete book covers for romantasy to dark mafia romance and new adult suspense to illustrated LGBTQ+ contemporary fiction, I love working with writers and stories that are diverse and inclusive.

I do not use AI in any part of my process, development or final artwork. All illustration is my own work and I commercially license any photography from a reputable stock library. The fonts I use in my work are also licensed for commercial use. Your cover will be unique, bespoke and stand out amongst a sea of designs that blend together in your genre.
