Sam Morgan

Sam Morgan – Editor

Former literary agent specializing in genre fiction - especially fantasy, science fiction, and horror. Here to help you find your voice!

Overview

Hello! I'm a former literary agent stepping back into the editing game. I sold my former clients all around the world to everyone from Big Five publishers to independent presses. With my editorial help these earned six-figure deals and TV/film options. While they were all unique, one thing stood out about them: their voice.

And so I'm here to help you uncover and discover the one aspect that makes you different from everyone else. While working on engaging plots, fascinating characters, and fun turns of phrases, I want to dig into this story and find out why only you can write it.

An editorial assessment and development with me will involve an in-depth look at your manuscript from a bird's eye view to a chapter by chapter look. A query critique will delve into the nitty gritty to find the best way to market your book.

Sam was great. He gave me exactly the information I asked for. His insights were right on the nose and he was very willing to work with me to implement the changes that he’d suggested. I highly recommend his services.

Sam was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. I came into this with no clue what to expect and Sam absolutely delivered. He was professional, friendly, and gave me feedback that I don't think I could place a value on. I will without a doubt be coming back for his services again when...

Took an editorial assessment of an unwieldy manuscript and tackled it professionally. Helped me isolate what was working and what could be left out, what I left out that should have been included, and then provided good feedback on chapter edits. Everything I needed and nothing I didn't.
