I have spent my professional life helping new and established writers tell their stories. In a career spanning more than twenty years I have worked as an editor, development editor and producer on several notable and award-winning UK television series including Broadchurch, Silk, Torchwood and The Watch.

I have established friendships with some of the leading writers in the industry by being supportive, collaborative and knowledgable about the craft and art of storytelling.

I understand how to help writers achieve their goals and have a proven ability in developing and creating memorable characters, gripping narratives and coherent story structures.

I am able to spot, contextualise and offer help in solving problems in a collaborative manner and can act as a sounding board for story ideas.

I specialise in plays and screenplays with a crime narrative or a science-fiction theme.
