With more than twenty years of experience in the writing and editing trade, I have a strong command of the English language and a keen ability not only to ensure accurate grammar, usage, and syntax but also to improve a writing’s clarity and power. I have copyedited academic and trade books, news releases, speeches, op-eds, and video scripts and have written multiple editorial style guides.
I am at home working with a broad range of topics and writers, including authors telling their stories of quirky adventures growing up, hoping to inspire others; lawyers making the case for ethics in the courtroom; hospitality executives explaining how to ensure guest safety and security; and much more.
I am hands-on and accessible if you need me to be, but I am also comfortable working on my own. Above all, I am passionate about working with authors to support their vision and to bring their goals to fruition—and I work hard to make that happen!
