I’m a digital painter that specializes in art for young adult and fantasy fiction. I will paint your vision and make you a striking illustration that grabs attention from scratch. My strengths are impactful storytelling with vibrant colors, but I'm also a clear communicator and am able to accurately estimate the time I spend on a project, so I always hit my deadlines.

PLEASE NOTE: I do NOT provide the lettering for your book cover.

I get a lot of requests for cover design. While I can paint a beautiful illustration for your cover, I do not provide graphic design services myself.

Elements like titles, author names, blurbs etc. would have to be done by a graphic designer, which you can commission separately.

These three things are essential for me to make you an offer.

After more than 10 years as a professional artist, I have experience with freelancing and working in teams, for all kinds of businesses from start-ups to multi-million dollar companies. My experience with marketing and close collaboration with marketing teams give me a great insight into what your bookcover would need.

Higher budgets allow for more detailing and complex compositions with multiple characters or elements. Lower budgets will result in simpler compositions with less characters, but will always be competitive and look polished and well-cared for.

After receiving your brief and working out the offer details, I'll get to work and create two or three thumbnails for your bookcover, so you can get an idea of the final look and placement of all elements.

You can choose one of the thumbnails and I'll get to detailing all the elements of your cover.

Included in the price is one more feedback round (after you've chosen the thumbnail), in which you can ask me to change smaller things. E.g. can his arm be a bit higher, can you move her a bit to the right, can the light be a bit brighter, etc. Requests like "can we change the camera perspective" or "can we go for the other concept instead" are not included in this phase. Don't worry, I'll always let you know if this is the case and we can discuss options if you want to take the cover in another direction.

Once the final adjustments have been made, you get your new bookcover!
