Overview
My experience as a National TV News Producer led me to start a publicity company 25 years ago to help authors gain better media visibility. I work across all book genres, including fiction and non-fiction.
The first step is to have a phone call so that we can map out the best ways to collaborate, and then I can help you to:
1) Write your press release and come up with suggested talking points for your interviews
2) Pitch you to targeted media outlets - My contact list reflects over 25 years of experience working with authors and the media.
3) Book your interviews and provide you with regular schedule updates
4) Provide you with media training. Whether this is your first time on air or you are a seasoned guest, I can make sure you are ready for your interviews
4) Act as your Producer for your appearances on the shows, liaising with the media outlet to make sure you are represented.
5) Follow up for links to the interviews (when available)
Interviews can be done over the phone, Zoom, or in person, depending on your availability and schedule. This process is great for authors who want to get media coverage around the country without necessarily leaving the comforts of their home or office!
I typically prefer 5-6 weeks to facilitate this pitching process, but I can work under tighter deadlines if needed.

Radio: local drive-time shows and radio programs across I Heart Media, NPR, Sirius-XM, Audacity, Cumulus and Business Talk Radio
Podcasts: niche audiences found on iHeartMedia, Audacy (through Cadence13 and Pineapple Street Studios), Spotify (through Gimlet and Parcast), and Amazon (through Wondery), NPR, and other News-specific outlets.

Daemon Protocol - JL Spears
I promoted this first-time author of historical fiction. I used his experience and knowledge of the AI world to position him as an expert in the field and we were able to use this to promote his work of fiction based on AI. We got bookings on national TV and radio. By doing this - I helped the author create a brand that he could market.
Out of My Shell - By Natasha Daniels
I put together a package deal to help her promote all three books that cover OCD with Natasha, which entailed 3 books she was releasing over a 3-year period. I also worked on her biography.
Profiles in Mental Health Courage by Patrick Kennedy
I helped Patrick Kennedy secure media coverage on top Health and News outlets...including on CNN National TV, Fox News TV and Radio and NPR. Profiles in Mental Health Courage won Harvard Public Health Magazine's "Best Public Health Books of the Year."
The Highest Calling - David Rubenstein
I worked with David Rubenstein, co-founder of The Carlyle Group and a prominent philanthropist, on The Highest Calling, helping him reach the NY Times best-seller list. Other popular non-fiction books I worked on with David include:

Midnight Black - Mark Greaney
This is Mark's 14th book in the Gray Man series. I worked on his publicity for the last 8 books - including the one he wrote with Tom Clancy. They all became best-sellers in Fiction and my work was pivotal in getting Mark the media appearances he needed to promote the book.
Magic Pill by Johann Hari
Helped this bestselling author with his media outreach, focusing on Health Shows and Pop Culture, nationally syndicated radio programs, as well as WABC-New York Television. It became a NY Times bestseller.
Magic Pill offers a revelatory look at the drugs, such as Ozempic, that are upending weight loss as we know it.
Nuclear War by Annie Jacobsen
Booked and Produced an NPR specific radio tour for the author. This became a National Bestseller for Non-Fiction.
The book examines the protocols and potential scenarios that could lead to nuclear war, including the concept of "launch on warning"

For this Travel/Pop Culture book - I secured national radio interviews on NPR, I Heart Media, SIRIUS-XM, USA Network; SPORTS BYLINE; Armed Forces TV interviews in Denver, Memphis, Tampa, Harrisburg, and Boise.

For this Parenting book, I secured interviews on a virtual TV tour for the authors in top markets, including affiliates in Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta, Cleveland, Tampa, Phoenix, Albuquerque, and New Orleans.
