Overview
I am a creative, driven, and results-oriented publicist with fourteen years of experience promoting nonfiction books in the self-help, parenting, psychology, and spirituality categories. I pride myself on my ability to create impactful campaigns for authors who haven't hit the big leagues yet. My persistence and refusal to leave any stone unturned results in campaigns packed with radio interviews, mentions in articles, and features on influential social media channels. I also have been very successful in collaborating with authors to create compelling by-lined articles, which have been featured in a variety of regional and national publications.
In addition to publicity campaigns, I also work with major publishers on micro-influencer campaigns for their new releases. For the last several years, I have completed over one hundred successful campaigns (including 17 New York Times bestsellers), resulting in a major increase in exposure for each title that I have worked on.

Projects
Don't Be a Dick by Dr. Mark Borg
The publisher hired me to do a full publicity campaign for this self-help title by psychologist Dr. Mark Borg. I worked closely with Dr. Borg to craft a number of by-lined articles, many of which were picked up by outlets such as Working Mother, Mind Body Green, The Ladders, and Hitched. The book was also mentioned in over two dozen publications, including Bustle, MSN, Best Life, Huffington Post, Psychology Today, Your Tango, and Fatherly. I also booked Dr. Borg on The Today Show Australia, The Drew Garabo Show, The John Tesh Show, and The Jenny McCarthy Show, along with 20 other radio and podcast shows.
400 Friends and No One to Call by Val Walker
The publisher hired me to do a full publicity campaign for this self-help memoir. I worked closely with the author to craft article ideas and targeted pitches, which resulted in coverage in six magazines, including First for Women, and twenty online outlets, including Parade, AARP, Next Avenue, MSN, and Rewire, along with a standing column in Psychology Today. I also secured 32 radio and podcast interviews, including spots on SiriusXM/The Jenny McCarthy Show, SiriusXM/Signal Boost, and CBC/The Current (the largest radio show in Canada).
Everything Left to Remember by Steph Jagger
The author approached me to do a publicity campaign for the paperback release of her memoir. Since she didn't get much coverage for the hardcover release, we had a lot of options for outreach and secured the following hits:
- Bookings on 21 radio shows and podcasts, including The Mental Illness Happy Hour, Alaska Public Radio, and American Voices on SiriusXM
- 2 regional TV segments on New Day Northwest/King 5 and Studio 13 Live/Fox 13
- Bylined articles in Outside Magazine, Caregiver Solutions, and Writer's Digest
- Excerpts in Yoga Journal, Alzheimer's Today, and Maria Shriver's Sunday Paper
- Local publicity to support two of her book events
