Overview

As a huge book lover myself, I'm driven by working with writers to understand what their story is about, and help convey that to readers. I know how personal this process can be for writers. You know your book inside out. It's a part of you. I can help you translate that vision into a book that communicates all of that richness in a way that even someone who's picking up or browsing your book for the very first time will understand.

For 3 years I was the in-house book designer for publisher Samuel French, where I worked on more than 60 books, across a wide range for genres from plays to romance, historical work and children's stories to contemporary literature.

Please do get in touch with me and we can discuss your book.

Peter is always good to work with. He listens and does his best to fulfil my requests, skilfully guiding me when my ideas are off track. He is quick to respond, quick to come up with drafts, and happy to tweak until we are both happy. He's easy to communicate with and doesn't mind going beyond his brief to help out when I get stuck with the tech side of things. I love his covers and will be hap...

Peter executed an absolutely wonderful design for the title page of a fiction title. You can't imagine what he'll create, but it will connect the book to the reader with aplomb.

Peter went above and beyond what a person might expect from a cover designer. This was a big project--five book covers. He asked plenty of questions to get a sense of my books and acted on all of my feedback without complaint. But the best thing about Peter is that I could tell he wanted to get things right, artistically. He was more than willing to do the work to get to a fine result. For exam...
