Work experience

Master Proof

Oct, 2013 — Present
I am an experienced proofreader, specializing in academic texts, especially in the humanities and social sciences. I offer proofreading using BSI proof-correction marks; on-screen revision tracking in MS Word ; PDF mark-up; and copy-editing using the client’s textual coding and tagging conventions (if required) on hard copy or on-screen. My copy-editing experience includes work within Middle Eastern studies. However , I am flexible and would consider all types of commissions, including proofreading and copy-editing of fiction manuscripts. I have additional experience of editing children's fiction and poetry and would welcome enquiries from self-publishers. I have worked with many clients who have English as a second language, as well as clients with dyslexia and dyspraxia. Please do drop me a line should you require further information about my services.
