When I work on developmental edits I focus on development of voice, pacing, character, and adherence to genre expectations; these are the things that are going to attract an editor's attention if you're looking to be traditionally published. For line edits, I bring a poet's ear to phrasing. I have a reputation as a sharp copyeditor and proofreader who can work with external style books and create an individual style guide for your particular project.
