Paula Weiman

Paula Weiman – Editor

As a literary agent representing multiple genres, I can help authors refine their query letters so agents consider their work thoroughly.

Overview

I review an average of 350 queries per month across multiple genres within children's fiction, adult fiction, and illustration. Through my professional career with literary agencies, publishers, and literary scouts, I've also become familiar with nonfiction pitches. I can provide feedback to authors and illustrators who are prepared to query and are confident in the quality of their creative work, but aren't sure how to ensure that they're including relevant information in their query letter in a way that will grab an agent's attention.

I do not represent authors who solicit my freelance editing services. If you query me after I edit your query letter for that project, I will not offer representation for your work.
