I'm a book cover designer, based in Lisbon with 5 year experience. I have designed covers and interiors for picture books, novels, literary fiction, non-fiction and educational titles, to name a few.

Clients include most of the renowned Portuguese publishers such as LeYa, Topseller, Vogais, Booksmile, Nascente, Esfera dos Livros, Marcador and many independents.

During the process of creating a cover, I'm always keen on detail, suitable imagery and well chosen typography. Not only do I use conventional and digital media in my illustrations but I also create hand-drawn illustrations for the covers.
As my working method, I've learned quickly to adapt and create different styles to ensure I perfectly present your genre and consider your target market too.

I believe that good stories should always be shared. What I most enjoy in this process is to create a face, a personality for the book covers that enhance the experience of the readers.

Let's create something together :)

Blitzed — Drugs in the Third Reich

The Nazis presented themselves as warriors against moral degeneracy. Yet, as Norman Ohler's gripping bestseller reveals, the entire Third Reich was permeated with drugs: cocaine, heroin, morphine and, most of all, methamphetamines, or crystal meth, used by everyone from factory workers to housewives, and crucial to troops' resilience - even partly explaining German victory in 1940.

Too Much Sea For Many Doubts

Cover for the Portuguese book Too Much Sea for so Many Doubts. It tells us of loss, loneliness, passion, love and fidelity, but in a perspective where the multiple disagreements of the characters form a fragile web on which deep and strong feelings move.

The One That Got Away

This is the Portuguese version for the book The One That Got Away by Melissa Pimentel.
Ruby and Ethan were perfect for each other. Until the day they suddenly weren't.

Now, ten years later, Ruby is single, having spent the last decade focusing on her demanding career and hectic life in Manhattan. There's barely time for a trip to England for her little sister's wedding. And there's certainly not time to think about what it will be like to see Ethan again, who just so happens to be the best man.

But as the family frantically prepare for the big day, Ruby can't help but wonder if she made the right choice all those years ago. Because there is nothing like a wedding for stirring up the past.

Jonathan Unleashed

This is the Portuguese version for the book Jonathan Unleashed.
“How did normal people cross the huge gulf between childhood and adulthood?” Jonathan wonders.
When his brother asks him to look after his dogs, Jonathan's world view begins to shift. Could a border collie and a cocker spaniel hold the key to life, the universe, and everything?

A funny, wise romantic comedy set in Manhattan, Jonathan Unleashed is a story of tangled relationships, friendships, and dogs. Rosoff’s novel is for anyone wondering what to be when they grow up, and how on earth to get there
