Nicole Ramirez – Editor

I began my professional career at Penguin Random House in 2013. What started as a knack for finding errors in books and having a strong attention to detail eventually led me to become a production editor. While I was a production editor, I managed the copy editing and proofreading of hundreds of books—both fiction and nonfiction—as well as any press-ready materials going out to the public. While at PRH, I was also hired as a freelance proofreader for an imprint that specialized in contemporary romance novels.

I’m passionate about polishing copy while not changing the author's intention, and I thoroughly enjoy working with authors and editors. I have never missed a deadline while delivering client expectations on time and within budget. I am more than happy to go over the project with you before getting started to ensure we're on the same page to deliver a fantastic book ready to be published.

In my free time, you can catch me in New York City, either running marathons and half marathons for fun or taking my dog on adventures. I also love finding new restaurants to eat at with anyone who will join me.
