Previously, as Digital Marketing Manager and Website Editor for the Roald Dahl Literary Estate (2012 - 2016), I was responsible for all online marketing relating to the copyrights of best-selling author Roald Dahl. This included launching, managing and editing the official Roald Dahl website and a platform of social media pages with an audience of nearly 2m.
In 2016, a campaign I worked on whilst at the Roald Dahl Literary Estate - My Messy Adventure, in partnership with Persil - won the Best Licensed Marketing Communication Award in the 2016 UK Licensing Awards and the Content Marketing Award in Brand Republic’s 2016 Digital Awards.
From 2008 - 2012, I worked as an Online Editor for Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Really Useful Group. As a copywriter, editor and digital marketer, I looked after 12 websites and co-managed the digital marketing strategy for the company. This included creating written and video content for websites such as,, and. I was responsible for the initial set up of the company’s social media channels, which after 4 years in the role numbered more than 20 Facebook pages, 6 Twitter accounts, 5 YouTube channels and a growing Google+ presence. I also created monthly e-marketing campaigns, maintained digital marketing strategies and worked with third-party suppliers in terms of ticketing and merchandise.
I have also previously worked as a freelance journalist specialising in the arts and more specifically, theatre and literature. I have been published online and in print for publications including, Fresh Direction magazine, Who's Jack magazine, ShortList magazine and BBC Nottingham.

The Roald Dahl Literary Estate
As Website and Digital Marketing Manager for the Roald Dahl Literary Estate, I looked after all online marketing relating to the copyrights of best-selling author Roald Dahl. I worked closely with a huge range of partners and agencies across a variety of industries, from theatre and film to publishing and promotions, as well as the teams at the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity.

The Horniman Museum
The Horniman Museum is based in South East London. Through its collections and related exhibitions and events the Horniman seeks to encourage a wider appreciation of the World, its peoples and their cultures, and its environments.
I worked in the Press and Marketing team, which included: assisting with the planning, layout and design of the Museum's quarterly 'What's On' guides; planning events around the Museum's ongoing and temporary exhibitions; event management including overseeing and managing 20 staff during large-scale events such as the annual 'Jerk Cookout' in the Museum's gardens which attracted more than 10,000 visitors; contacting members of the UK national and local press to promote the Museum's activities and events, including assisting in placing exclusives with the Sunday Times Culture, Sunday Times Style, and Independent Travel magazines.
