Nicola Robson – Designer

I’m a 31-year-old children’s book author and illustrator based in the UK. I live with my husband, our daughter, and a little zoo of pets (two dogs and three cats!).

I’ve been drawing since I was a kid and never grew out of it. As a lifelong animal lover and storyteller at heart, I’m passionate about creating illustrations that bring joy, spark imagination, and leave a lasting mark on childhood.

I love all things that show the magic of childhood, and I express this through textures, patterns and lots of colour!

I was diagnosed with autism aged 31 and am very passionate about any stories that support young readers learning about themselves - and that being yourself is okay! :)
