Overview
I have 25 years of experience developing content and products for the global market. I built my career in London working for leading global publishing houses (for example, Penguin, Walker Books, Puffin, Dorling Kindersley), where I wrote and edited books across all genres. I went on to manage publishing programmes and portfolios of bestselling authors and artists, such as Michael Rosen and Quentin Blake, and top entertainment brands, including Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Mattel, and more. My reputation is built on delivering dynamic content, innovative products, effective project management, and a willingness to pull out the stops – all delivered with genuine passion and good humour.
As a highly experienced editor, published author, and award-winning publisher, I'm ideally placed to help you bring your ideas to life. I'm also a qualified nutritionist registered with the Association for Nutrition, the only register of qualified nutritionists recognised by the UK Health Security Agency and the NHS. Besides nutrition, I've supported authors writing on many other topics, including art therapy, mindfulness, yoga, sustainable living, and more.
I have expertise in children’s publishing (picture books, novelty, gifting, non-fiction, and brands) and have written, edited and published books on various topics for children from toddlers to teens. I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in children’s entertainment and collaborated with bestselling picture books authors and illustrators (for example, Eric Carle, Lauren Child, Sam McBratney, Ian Whybrow).
As an editor, author, and publisher, I understand all stages of book development from concept to on-shelf and can offer professional insight and personal support throughout the process. I am self-employed and work as an editor, writer, project manager, and publishing consultant for leading publishing houses. I guide new and established authors from concept to print, offering direction on book content, editing, design, publishing options, and marketing.
