NaNá Stoelzle – Editor

Editing is my bag: literary fiction, world fiction, memoirs--you name it! Making books the best they can be is my life's work.

Overview

They say it takes twenty thousand hours to become a master of something, and I've got that! I estimate that I've copyedited over a thousand books so far and I love my work. Due to my respectful style and easygoing personality, I have a ton of repeat business: I'm the exclusive copy editor for Loren D. Estleman; I've copyedited and proofread numerous novels for W. Bruce Cameron, Julia Keller, Alyson Noël, Osho, Opal Carew, Donna Grant, A. C. Arthur, Augusten Burroughs, and Hannah Dennison, among others. I have a wide scope of knowledge and enjoy working on a range of genres. I've done everything from literary fiction to self-help, with some cookbooks and fantasy novels thrown in. I'd love to help polish your book and make it shine!

A top-notch freelance editor, I've worked for major publishers like St. Martin's Press; Tor/Forge Books; Penguin Random House; Simon and Schuster; Hay House; Farrar, Straus and Giroux; and HarperCollins. I've also worked on books for self-publishers like CreateSpace. Before becoming a freelancer, I worked for five years in-house at a publishing house in NYC as a production editor. From manuscript to bound book, I've got you covered.

NaNá has a great eye for detail and story logistics. I often get caught up in getting the story on the page which can result in misuse of punctuation. She did an amazing job of polishing my book and getting it publish ready.
