Overview
I am now working full time and not taking new freelance projects.
——
I spent the first decade of my career as Children’s and YA editor, working with authors and illustrators to create books that will help kids and teens fall in love with reading, see themselves in great stories, and find windows to new experiences and points of view. I also have a passion for strategy and positioning, and have spoken extensively at SCBWI conferences about publishing market topics. I have been to countless editorial and acquisitions meetings and know when writers are on the right track.
My sweet spots are romance, YA, picture books, and middle grade fiction. I am not the best match for high fantasy. I am also a voracious reader of general fiction, domestic thrillers, and memoir.
