A copy editor since the 1990s, I specialise in academic manuscripts in the humanities and arts. Keywords: social sciences, human resources, organisational studies, urban studies, cultural geography, contemporary culture, human rights, history, philosophy.
I typically start by establishing your needs in terms of tone and style, where you aim to publish your manuscript and how soon you need the final edit. I will then conduct an initial pass and send you the result with any questions that arose. After resolving these questions in the next phase, I will then conduct a final edit and conduct consistency checks before delivering the final edit.

I registered myself as a sole trader in Australia in 2018, and all my academic editing has since then been completed through this sole tradership. I typically edit more than a million words every year, including doctoral papers and theses, journal articles, book chapters, monographs, and project proposals and reports. I have regular clients from more than 10 universities across Northern Europe as well as clients from Australian universities and colleges.
