Michael D'Antonio

Michael D'Antonio – Ghostwriter

Veteran NYT bestselling ghostwriter/co-writer with more than two dozen titles issued by major publishers.

Overview

After 15 years in journalism in Washington and Long Island, I went freelance as an author, co-author, ghostwriter, and consultant. I have published exclusively with prominent houses and worked with, among others, businesspeople, scientists, attorneys, members of Congress, and even the central figure in a history-changing national political scandal. I consider my ghostwriting projects to be true collaborations.

In my experience, great storytelling -- my specialty -- is the most powerful way to engage editors, readers, reviewers, and the reporters and producers who are publicity gatekeepers. The best stories are told in memoirs, which should feature the author on his/her journey of discovery. As a ghostwriter, I work closely with authors to identify and shape their stories to produce a work that accurately reflects their values, experience, and point of view.

Simply put, I connect authors and audiences. Nothing's more important than the emotional connection that makes a story unforgettable.
