• Correct errors of spelling, grammar, and punctuation using Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 12th edition, and The Chicago Manual of Style, 18th edition

• Ensure consistency in spelling, capitalization, and punctuation

• Suggest enhancements to clarity and flow while preserving the author's voice

• Format manuscript to adhere to best editing practices (12 pt. Times New Roman, double-spaced)

• Make two full passes of the manuscript

• Prepare a style sheet including language and usage information, proper names, character traits of major players, and miscellaneous information regarding plot
