Mia Olofsson – Designer

Hey there! I'm an illustrator and graphic designer originally from Sweden but now based in Paris. My freelancing journey began in 2015 and In my portfolio you will find a wide range of projects that have fueled my passion for storytelling through art for all kinds of target groups.

In the realm of graphic design, I specialize in crafting impactful logos, brand identities, magazines, books, brochures, posters, PowerPoint designs and restaurant menus. I have a sharp sense for layout and typography and I feel lucky to often have projects where I get to combine my skills in graphic design and illustration, for example an illustrated menu for a restaurant or a colourful illustrated poster.

When it comes to illustration, my focus lies in producing captivating brand illustrations and bringing fairy tales to life in children's books. I also have a lot of fun creating collections of illustrations and templates for all sorts of things for the platform Canva!

Children's books hold a special place in my heart. I find sheer joy in playing with perspectives, exploring new worlds where the sky can be yellow and the trees can be pink. I also love to work with the format of the book as a way to expand the dimensions of the story.

But don’t be afraid! I’m not always playing around on my pink cloud creating imaginary worlds. I also take big pleasure in making illustrations in a more serious and realistic way, often with simples lines and only one color. I see myself as a chameleon in a way, I can adapt myself and my creations can have many different styles but always with my own mark.
