Writer, collaborative editor, and writing coach specializing in helping clients tell their best stories.

Overview

Whether you’re a novelist working on your third book or an expert in your field who is a newbie to writing, I can help. I offer line editing and content/developmental editing for authors of fiction, memoir, and nonfiction. My goal is to preserve your unique voice and polish your prose to enhance clarity, elegance, and depth.

My background includes an MFA in creative writing and an editing certificate from the University of Washington. I spent four years in a private writing workshop led by author Brenda Peterson where I further honed my ability to deeply listen and offer feedback that honors an author’s intent. Currently, I provide editorial services for a variety of authors seeking independent as well as traditional publication.

My fiction and nonfiction have been published in several journals including Pitkin Review, Shark Reef, the Autumn Sound Review, Em Dash Literary Magazine, the Magnolia Review, Alaska Airlines Magazines, and UW Medicine magazine. I am also an editor and contributor of the anthology Secret Histories: Stories of Courage, Risk, and Revelation.
