I'm a Harvard graduate with over 5 years of experience in the book publishing industry. After working at Perigee Books (Penguin Random House), Little, Brown & Company (Hachette Book Group), and The Monacelli Press, the bulk of my corporate book publishing experience is in adult illustrated books. These are otherwise known as coffee table books! I have read countless cookbook proposals, and I would love to help any emerging author to relate their life experience in food in a way that is fresh and conversational. Much of my recent work in book proposal writing and consulting has been for cookbook authors, but I have also worked with art, photography, and illustrated history.

I am looking to work on more memoir and biography; in college I was a research assistant to Pulitzer-Prize winning biographer Megan Marshall, and in New York I regularly write essays and perform storytelling. Let me help you tell your story, as clearly and as engagingly as possible.
