Throughout my career, I have blended literary and commercial storytelling to create immersive, empathy-driven fiction, most recently in The Girls We Sent Away, a Southern Indie Bestseller and North Carolina Reads selection. Beyond my own writing, I have worked extensively as an editor and book coach, helping writers refine their craft through developmental editing and guided mentorship.
Additionally, I lead writing workshops, including Creating Compelling Characters: The Art of Empathy in Storytelling, where I use public speaking, interactive instruction, and research-based techniques to teach character development. My experience in both publishing and teaching has strengthened my ability to mentor writers at all stages of their journeys.
