Hi! I’m a creative, versatile book project manager, designer and art director, with many years of expertise in developing and executing illustrated non-fiction lifestyle and reference books for both the adult and child market - both working hands on and leading a team to the goal. I've successfully produced multiple bestsellers and worked with a number of high profile and new authors and influencers, from initial visual idea to moodboard and presentation (ie sample jacket and spreads) through to final artwork, achieving beautifully realised, market-perfect design solutions aligned to the author’s brand.

I'm a good collaborator and have a sound editorial sense enabling me to design and structure complex (and simple!) content in a clear, fresh, engaging way. I have highly developed layout and typographic skills, and extensive experience in commissioning contemporary illustration and photography and finding the perfect style for the project. I’m also practiced in making budgets stretch to give high visual impact and have a strong eye for detail. I have excellent contacts (designers, editors, photographers, stylists and illustrators, picture researchers and specialist retouchers) if your project requires a team. I'm highly organised with a strong track record in keeping projects on track for time, cost and quality.
