WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU:

Producing your book for the first time might seem like a scary experience as you navigate the terminology and stages. However, I would be glad to help you through this process, guiding you from manuscript stage through to final product, with humour and making your project fun.

My projects so far on Reedsy have been very varied. As well as designing books and art directing professional illustrators, I've also mentored non-professional illustrator clients, so that they can create their own products. (See the Reedsy project, 'Sound Smart'.

A BIT ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE:

I've been a children's book designer for over twenty years, working on a variety of different genres, including fiction, non-fiction and licensed character brands, such as Roald Dahl.

I have worked for major publishing houses, such as Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Editions Didier, Piccadilly Press, Hinkler, Faber & Faber and Harper Collins.

I design book covers, text layouts, marketing materials and branding, as well as art direct illustrators, such as David Roberts, Ross Collins and Mark Beech.

I create my own images using photography and typography, as well as illustrate in a simple cartoony style. See book cover on Natan Sharansky and my very own self-published digital comic book, 'My Energy Thief'.
