Malcolm Bradley – Ghostwriter

If I could condense my style of storytelling into a simple phrase, I think it would be the timeless “Make them laugh and make them cry.” Fiction is about the breadth of human emotional experience, and I find my educational background in filmmaking a boon to the way I approach writing books. We can all think of a film that stayed with us, or a TV series where we became deeply involved in the character's journey. Novels take that connection to another level.

I have almost 13 years’ experience as a self-employed writer, and have written across a wide range of genres, but in recent years have specialised in paranormal cozy mysteries and space operas about misfit groups changing the fates of intergalactic empires. Weirdly enough, my sense of humour fits both very well, as does my dramatic timing!

I consistently produce well-reviewed books on Amazon, and have a long-term client currently represented by a New York literary agent, for whom I have written three traditionally published books. She describes me as “the most trusted collaborator of my working life,” and says of working with me: “What sets Malcolm apart is his ear for voice. He builds characters with patience and handles emotional interiority with rare subtlety.”
