Mackenzie Walton

Mackenzie Walton – Editor

Providing developmental edits, editorial assessments, and proofreading for all romance subgenres/heat levels, with 15+ years of experience.

Overview

With more than fifteen years as a professional editor under my belt, I bring a vast wealth of experience and knowledge to all my freelance projects. My goal is to polish every book until it shines, while working closely with the author to maintain their authentic vision and voice.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Evansville, I worked for several publishers, including Harris Publications and Samhain Publishing (Romance/Retro Romance lines). In 2016, I began freelance editing for for indie authors and publishers alike. My focus is currently on romance fiction, in all subgenres and at all heat levels.

When not working, I like to read, listen to podcasts, paint my nails, and coddle my cat and stepdog.
