Overview
Hey! I’m Lyric, a ghostwriter with a deep love for sharing stories that highlight the magic in the mundane.
I'm fascinated by other humans—where they've been, who they've encountered, and how they've become—which is probably why people often spill their secrets to me within a few minutes of meeting. No topic is off limits, no taboo too uncomfortable to witness. And your intellectual property is protected every step of the way.
Writing and reading have been staples in my life since I was a kid, so it's only right that I've infused these natural gifts and interests into my work now. For the past eight years or so, I've worked intimately with authors as well as traditional and hybrid publishers (Macmillan, Hachette, Sounds True, Hardie Grant, and Amplify, to name a few) to craft memorable, resonant, and marketable books.
I've dedicated myself to learning the publishing industry inside and out, studying the art and craft of writing, and gathering the tricks of the trade to help authors translate their insights and stories into engaging titles. My training includes certification in book ghostwriting and book proposal writing from Wambtac Ghostwriters.
If any of this sounds intriguing to you, reach out! I can write just about anything, but my interests lie in narrative nonfiction, essay collections, prescriptive self-help, and memoir that explore:
- non-Abrahamic spirituality
- self-help
- personal development
- women's health
- BIPOC philosophy
- feminist thought, women’s studies
- deconstruction/decolonization praxis
