Lynsey Griswold

Lynsey Griswold – Editor

(She/they.) Editor with 10+ years in-house and freelancing for Big 5 publishers and private clients across genres. Co-founder Oneshi Press.

Overview

I'm a publishing professional, period. I have worked in numerous parts of the publishing industry since my early twenties, from an editorial internship to an assistant production editor position at the biggest publisher in the world to a freelance copyeditor to a writer to an independent publisher with my company.
I've edited everything from academic titles to romance to entrepreneurial inspiration to high fantasy to erotic comics; run my own online magazine; written dozens of articles for prestigious publications; and written a memoir of my own.
I particularly love working on romance, fantasy, and memoir, but the point is: If you can write it, I can help you get it into better shape for publication. And I'd love to!

Lynsey was such a pleasure to work with. She was flexible, communicative, and truly enthusiastic about my book. Her feedback was so helpful in the process of getting my book ready for readers. She caught so many disrepancies and issues that I would never have found otherwise, close as I was to the project. There were a few errors that she missed here and there, but overall, I am very satisfied ...

Lynsey was fantastic to work with! She caught all the sneaky errors, was great at communicating, and she not only provided a thorough copy edit, but gave succinct feedback and answered all of my questions (even if they weren't totally relevant to the job!). Can't wait to work with her again on book 2 :)

This is my second time working with Lynsey and I can't say enough wonderful things about the quality of work and overall experience. Lynsey has a way of critiquing that is 100% constructive and motivating without sugar coating the tough questions. The quality and care Lynsey puts into their work is evident and I appreciate it immensely!

Once more, Lynsey exceeds all expectations. Highly professional, great communicator, and delivers on time, even through difficult times. She'll make you work, but the improvement in your manuscript is worth it. Lynsey is everything I need in an editor. I look forward to working with her again. Jane Armor
