My name’s Lynn and I’m a freelance copy-editor and proofreader working remotely in the UK and EU. I’m an Advanced Professional Member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), which means you can trust that I have the proven skills and expertise needed to help you produce content that’s the best it can be – for you and your readers.

Initially as an in-house editor/editorial project manager and now as a freelancer of 30+ years' standing working with major publishers, I have a wealth of experience in both copy-editing and proofreading (with fact-checking expertise and a sprinkling of copywriting thrown in – and a GSOH to boot!).

In addition to my work on the usual text files and PDFs, I am experienced in online collaborative working (most often via Inkling Habitat), and fully conversant with the content management systems and templates of several major publishers.
