Overview
My work has covered a huge variety of topics from the whimsical and creative to the political and historical and beyond. At powerHouse Books in Brooklyn, NY, I edited art and photography books on topics as diverse as sexual fetishes to pre-war Syrian architecture. For self-publishing clients, I have worked on books on investing, entrepreneurship, education, and more.
No matter your topic, I know how to become the resident "expert" and guide you through the process on both a micro and macro level. I am meticulous about grammar and the nuts and bolts of book creation, but also dedicated and sensitive to a writer's overall vision, and writers find me collaborative, empathetic, and easy to work with.
Currently based in Los Angeles, I was born and educated in England and work comfortably in both U.S. and U.K. English and with a variety of style guides.
