Liz Rad – Editor

39 years' experience, specializing in medical, science, and health books, I relish in bringing each author's voice and vision to all pages.

Overview

"I had the privilege of working with an absolutely incredible editor! Not only was Liz amazingly responsive, but her constructive feedback and professional approach truly made a difference in my journey as a first-time author. With her guidance, my book transformed into something beyond my wildest dreams. I couldn't have imagined such a remarkable outcome without her support. She really went above and beyond to ensure that my book reached its full potential.

Moving forward, I have no doubt that she will be my go-to editor for all my future projects. I trust her completely with my work and appreciate her input immensely. What's more, our professional relationship has evolved into a genuine friendship, which means the world to me.

If you're a first-time author or anyone seeking an editor who is not only highly skilled but also a pleasure to work with, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She'll take your book to new heights while providing invaluable guidance along the way." -- Dr. Ali Chappell

"I also extend my most sincere thanks to Liz [R.], the professional copyeditor who carefully and systematically polished and standardized my otherwise rough ideas into something that is clean and far more presentable. Liz also added good humor and a positive tone to what otherwise can be a most difficult task for authors." -- Michael A. Steele, Oak Seed Dispersal: A Study in Plant-Animal Interactions

"Our copyeditor, Liz [R.], was simply superb in attention to myriad details of style, consistency, and clarity." -- Melvin L. Warren, Jr., and Brooks M. Burr, Freshwater Fishes of North America: Characidae to Poeciliidae, Volume 2

"Thanks, Liz [R.], for your meticulous efforts in helping a humble author feel like he has produced a good book. Liz, you taught me a lot, and I'm grateful." -- John Eric Goff, The Physics of Krav Maga

"We thank our copyeditor Liz [R.], devotee of the Oxford Comma and cat lover, for her kind, strong editing hand, and her marginal notes of encouragement." -- Daniel C. Abel and R. Dean Grubbs, Shark Biology and Conservation

"Thank you Liz [R]. Your attention to detail helped bring a greater level of clarity and professionalism to the manuscript." -- Luke Cruickshank, I'm With Crazy

I have worked on a wide range of projects, including university, college, and school textbooks; medical and science books and journals; digital products; technical and financial products; and nonfiction and fiction books. Many of these projects involved developmental edits, stylistic and substantive edits, proofreading, multiple authors and reviewers, complicated art programs, and comprehensive design and formatting elements.

I have vast experience with multiple style guides, creating extensive editorial style sheets, and employing editorial/design/composition codes and proofreading mark-up.

Exemplary editing and proofreading skills are my passion.

Asking questions is intrinsic to me.

I am extremely meticulous in my work; my attention to detail is paramount. I am reliable, meeting all my deadlines on target.

My heart sings as I work alongside my authors to bring their voice and vision to each page.
