Lisa Bonvissuto – Editor

I'm an assistant editor with experience editing fiction and nonfiction at St. Martin's Press/Thomas Dunne Books. In my time there, I've worked on novels by Jonathan Vatner, Anne Griffin, David Fisher, and Lisa Patton. My specialty areas are women's fiction, thrillers and mysteries, upmarket fiction, historical fiction, and rom-coms. I also have experience in nonfiction, particularly current affairs books, biographies and memoirs, and history. I'm happy to do developmental editing on pacing, character development, and anything else you may need. I can also help with editing query letters and pitches to agents. I typically give feedback in the form of editorial letters with specific examples, and would love to work together to brainstorm ideas and walk you through your concerns and my suggestions.
