Overview

I am a thoughtful and meticulous editor. My focus on clarity, simplicity and error-free writing is at the forefront of my work. I am easy to work with and maintain a good rapport with all my clients. I pride myself on timeliness and professionalism. Constantly thinking on the audience's behalf is the path to any good publication.

I have worked in the craft publishing industry writing instructions and articles for over ten years. I am published in craft books, magazines and leaflets found in big box stores. I believe that my ability to write consistent and repeatable instructions is due to my amazing ability to tell people what to do.

I also have experience in book indexing, software user instructions, persuasive and informative writing and social media work. I have a solid background in science with an undergraduate degree in biology and my masters work was in professional and technical writing. I enjoy writing and editing on wide array of subjects and am able to speak to many due to my homeschooling my four children (yes, even Latin!).

I truly enjoy my work and I think it shows in each project I take on.
