Overview
An accredited editor with 20 years’ experience, I can help you achieve your publication goals — however large or small. I specialise in non-fiction, with a particular interest in the humanities and social sciences. In 2022 I completed a Master of History, specialising in Australian and public history. I also have tertiary qualifications in Psychology and Communications. My clients have ranged from large publishers to community kindergartens, and I have worked on a diverse range publications, such as journal articles, textbooks, corporate services tender documents, websites, memoirs and self-help books.
My aim is to enhance the clarity of your publication, enabling you to connect with your readers. When you're happy with the structure of your manuscript, that's where I come in. I love getting into the nitty gritty of sentences, tidying up punctuation and polishing your words so that they shine.
'Linden copyedited the manuscript for my memoir Abductions From My Beautiful Life when my publisher failed to complete this essential step. A decade of work had gone into producing this manuscript, and I was happy with the quality of the writing. But I was also acutely aware that good writing can be ruined by errors that aren’t eliminated in a thorough copyedit. Great copyediting takes training, skill, and immense attention to detail. Linden took on my 96,000-word manuscript at short notice, delivered all of this, and returned my work error free, and ready to publish. I can’t recommend her copyediting services highly enough.'
