I have worked within the book publishing industry for over fifteen years, designing books and book covers for a number of leading UK publishers such as Penguin Random House, HarperCollins and Hodder & Stoughton. I have worked on book projects for authors such as Iris Murdoch, Travis Elborough, Marina Hyde and Patricia Highsmith.

I will always aim to create work that is creative, intelligent and well thought out. The design of any book really does matter and I will focus on on adding the maximum design value to any book I am working on. I have typeset, designed and illustrated numerous book interiors over the years, ranging from Poetry anthologies to fully illustrated Children's art books. I love working on the interiors and offer a service where I will make your words sit beautifully on the page.

I also co-run a small poetry press (Donut Press) and have created books for John Hegley, Tim Turnbull and Annie Freud amongst many others.

When I'm not designing I like to make Thai food and read as many books as I can get my hands on!

Five stars all round for Liam - we really loved working with him. He not only took the time to properly understand our brief but asked us the kind of questions that helped us to refine our thinking in relation to the brief, helping us to be a better client! Liam completely exceeded our expectations with delivery - he is incredibly talented. Communication was always prompt and friendly and nothi...

It was a pleasure to work with Liam on my latest book cover. He answered my questions promptly and was open to my suggestions while offering his own. We were both happy with the final cover. I used an image from 1866 on the cover, and had to get permission from a museum. That caused a delay in the middle of the process, but as soon as the permission and the hi res image arrived Liam was quick t...

Liam was quick to respond and very helpful working with a pair of first-time publishers. He was happy to help us with things including aspects of printing and supported the production of a print-ready cover even though that wasn't in the initial brief. He also had an opportunity to sell in additional work, but advised us that he did not believe it was necessary, which speaks of his integrity....
