Kristina Kostova – Designer

Since I was a child, I've had a deep passion for art. I pursued that love by earning a degree in Painting and Traditional Art from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. Now, as a digital artist, I specialize in creating illustrations, comics, and pixel art that (more than hopefully) bring joy and wonder to those who see them.

I began my career at an entertainment company right after graduation - a great part about it was that they made both video games and comics. This allowed me to create art for a diverse range of projects. There was only one catch - I was a ghost artist. Eventually, I wanted to start working on my own and focus on projects that were more meaningful to me, like book illustrations and comics. Since then, I have worked with incredible people with no less amazing ideas.

I believe the best results come from understanding and working closely with all the people involved. By sharing thoughts and ideas about the project, I want you to bring me into your world. On my side, I will share back an artwork that best reflects all of that.

Some of my recent accomplishments include creating the cover art and interior illustrations for John Argent's book for children of all ages, "Henry Hoskins and the Hole Factory", doing the artwork for J Igarashi's "Wilde World", and working on various humorous, fantastic, mysterious, dramatic and thrilling projects with comic book creator C2YM.

I know there are countless incredible concepts out there waiting to be discovered, and I want to be a part of making them a reality through my art.
