Kimberly Broderick – Editor

Full time editorial freelancer (and former managing editor) working as a proofreader, copyeditor, development editor, and project manager.

Overview

I am currently a full time editorial freelancer, and I work as a proofreader, copyeditor, development editor, and project manager for many different kinds of media companies. Over the past eleven years, I have been working regularly for marketing firms, book publishers, magazine publishers, and private writers. I have experience with all different types of editing styles and preferences, as well as working within a privacy-sensitive setting, having signed NDAs in the past for specific projects.

For my entire professional career, I have worked in the publishing industry, my most recent position as a managing editor at a book publishing house. As a managing editor, as well as a production editor, I am trained to home in on errors, both editorially as well as with layout. I am also well used to deadlines and adhering to (and creating) strict schedules to follow.

I would love to bring my editorial skills to you to help you with your next editorial project! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
