****TESTIMONIALS: ****

Kim is my favorite kind of editor to work with; she's a reader first and a writer at heart. Having her read several of my novels and give editing feedback has been just the boost in the arm I've needed to craft the best stories I can. She's great at finding ways to help you "up" the stakes and fine-tune the tension, as well as making sure that your characters maintain their sense of agency and heart. She's very clear and direct (in such a kind way!) which is exactly what I prefer - as a writer, I need to know where the problem points are to get back in there and fix them! She's great at offering ideas and solutions to story problems and I can't recommend her cheerleading, championing spirit enough!

Working with Kim on my manuscript was a fantastic experience, and anyone in the market for a wonderful editor with a keen eye would do well to contact her. Kim worked tirelessly to give me a complete, thorough outline of all of the strengths and weaknesses in my story. I also really appreciated her line-by-line comments as well--she was very tuned into my characters and their arcs, and pointed out to me all the places where I could tweak things to make them stronger. She asked all the right questions to get my mind-gears turning. Perhaps the most important piece of all, however, was her compassion. She was always kind and truly seemed to care about me, my journey, and my book's success. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I was lucky enough to hire Kim to help me with the first novel I wrote. I'd been in the query trenches for some time and knew I needed a fresh pair of eyes to help me understand what was and wasn't working with my manuscript. Kim got right to the heart of what I needed to fine-tune and guided me to work on things like plot structure, the inciting incident, and world-building. I learned so much from her critiques and feedback and I am forever grateful to her for being so kind and patient. And for making me feel like a real writer.

Kim was fantastic! Our interactions were professional, and her feedback was spot on. She was easy to work with, positive, and her notes didn't feel overwhelming (which as a writer this can happen from peer groups.) I recommend Kim and will absolutely use her services again.
