I'm a professional freelance editor with 4 years of experience. I have a special emphasis in young adult, science fiction, and fantasy, but work with all fiction genres. I prefer to not work with non-fiction, erotica, or Christian ficiton. I currently edit and work for NY Times author Dan Wells (I am mentioned in the acknowledgements). I love to work with an author through the whole editing process: developmental edit, line edit, and copy-edit, but I have vast experience and training in all steps in the editing process. I use THE CHICAGO MANUAL OF STYLE 16th edition and the MERRIAM-WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY. I also teach on panels at writing conventions. I do this job because I love it and I bring that same enthusiasm to your edit as I help you hone your craft.
